 More Americans should! If not for the battles won, if not for the fight- the entire course of the Civil War here in America could have been different! With the French invading from the south! A scenario not taught in many public schools today! Cinco de Mayo is more important to Americans than we ever knew!  Look it up! Cinco de Mayo - Wikipedia    Think beyond the watered down history you were taught! Understand what wins in other countries mean to you! This one was very important! Celebrate!
